I've spent the last 8 years immersed in tech businesses, occupying roles spanning Product Management, Project Management and Development.

Product Owner
FinTech SaaS company
Building a complex Financial Services SaaS product in an AI-native environment.
- Responsible for the backend platform logic for all functionality related to billing.
- Working within a cross-functional team of Software Engineers, Platform Engineers, Technical Architects, QA Analysts and an Agile Delivery Manager.
- Operating within a highly regulated environment.
- Creating and prioritising the backlog, setting sprint goals and ensuring the delivery of maximum value to the end product, in line with the wider product strategy.
- Monitoring platform health via custom dashboards.
- Extensive stakeholder management.
- Leveraged AI tools to enhance the product delivery process.
Product Owner & Developer
eCommerce + Retail software company
A hybrid role acting as the first Product Owner in the organisation while also directly carrying out development tasks.
- Worked within a highly technical cross-functional team to deliver high quality builds for web and retail products.
- Gathered requirements from clients and stakeholders, wrote them up into comprehensive tasks and technical specification documents with user stories and acceptance criteria and worked with the Designers and Engineers to deliver them.
- Carried out development tasks using HTML, CSS, Tailwind, JavaScript and deployed them to production.
- Conducted user testing to gain valuable insights to inform effective product enhancements.
- Identified and implemented improved delivery processes.
- Leveraged AI tools to maximise efficiency and output.
Product Manager
eCommerce + Retail agency
Working within a cross-functional squad including a UX/UI Designer, multiple Developers, a Project Manager and a QA to deliver large scale complex products for retail clients.
- Maximised the value of the end product by analysing data to create and deliver comprehensive product roadmaps running refinement sessions for accurate task estimation, managing production deployments of high value product releases and handling direct client communications.
- Created technical specification documents and wrote user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure all tasks were accurately estimated and product features were shipped on time.

Digital Project Manager

Responsible for managing anywhere from 6 - 8 different projects simultaneously, comprising a mix of retainer work and new builds.
- Solely responsible for managing one of the internal 'squads', which included 5 developers and a QA tester. I was credited with taking it from a junior team to one of the highest-performing squads in the business.
- Led discovery sessions and project estimation for six-figure new product builds.
- Maintained up-to-date documentation, ran daily stand-ups, regular planning meetings and retrospectives, planned the sprints and releases and was the main point of contact for the clients on the projects I managed.
